Mary Wilson joined Advocare Berlin Medical Associates as a physician assistant in November 2015. She grew up in Staten Island, New York where she attended Tottenville High school. After graduation, Mary enlisted in the United States Air Force where she proudly served her country as a Medic for four years. One of those four years were spent deployed to war stricken Afghanistan where she provided life saving medical care to her fellow troops in Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon completion of her enlistment, she was accepted to the five-year accelerated physician assistant program at Philadelphia University. Mary rowed for the NCAA Division 2 School; where she was named three time CRCA All – American, and a three time CRCA National scholar athlete. She went on to graduate Cum laude in 2014 with her bachelor’s degree in health sciences, Mary then earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2015.
Mary decided to pursue a career in family medicine to be able to care for patients of all ages. To be able to develop a strong relationships with a patient and their families and to be able to care for them through all the different times of their lives. Mary has a special interest in women’s health and pediatrics, and offers these services at our practice. She is a current member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the New Jersey Society of Physician Assistants, and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants. Mary enjoys running long distance races, lifting weights, and spending time with her family and friends.
